FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
7 February 2000 -- Apollo Nudist Club, Perth's hyperactive naturist club does not have permanent grounds of its own but uses facilities around the city for its activities. Unfortunately, in October 1999 our city centre venue closed for redevelopment as home units, and the search for a new home was on.
As a stop-gap measure we held three Swims in Welshpool but the Committee finally settled on a new health & fitness centre in the northern suburbs. This purpose built facility provides an excellent base for the club and boasts a huge spa and sauna, large aerobics area, every type of fitness equipment you could imagine and a well designed meeting area for tea, coffee etc. All the usual children's games are available in the aerobics area except during the aerobics session.
Now in its 23rd year, Apollo is proud to continue its tradition of offering top class facilities and functions to the naturist community of Perth and visiting naturists from around the world. Apollo swim meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month (except January and early February) from 4.30 to 7.30pm.
